GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - At the recent council meeting, it was resolved that the offices of the Dr Beyers Naudé Municipality will be closed to the public from December 27 to January 2 and only essential services will be rendered.
Essential services include Waste Management, Traffic and Licensing Services, Community Health, Energy Services, Community Safety, Fire Services and Water and Sanitation.
Residents are advised to make arrangements for payment of accounts as no over the counter transactions will be possible while the offices are closed.
Electronic payments can be made as usual during the period.
Users of libraries will be given block loans for books during this period.
