GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Dr Beyers Naudé municipal offices in Graaff-Reinet have been closed for precautionary decontamination, after municipal employees tested for Covid-19.
The offices affected are 12-14 Caledon Street and Slabbert House, Church Square. The offices are expected to re-open on 5 October. All other municipal offices remain open for business.
“The Department of Health will be screening staff members who had direct contact with [those infected],” read a statement by the municipality, which was released this morning (2 October).
The municipality did not state how many employees are affected.
According to the municipality’s statement, account payments can be made via electronic funds, transfer or deposits, until the Budget and Treasury office reopens.
