GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Graaff-Reinet police have launched a manhunt after three girls were allegedly assaulted and raped by two men in the Wolwas area late yesterday afternoon.
Police spokesman Captain Bradley Rawlinson confirmed this morning (8 August) that the suspects are still at large and information is being followed up to track them down.
The victims were part of a group of five girls walking home from work when the attack happened. They apparently did not have enough taxi money. Two of the girls managed to escape being raped and assaulted.
The two attackers allegedly raped the three victims and then fled the scene.
Until late last night, police experts were following up information and combing the scene.
