KAROO NEWS - The body of a Bangladeshi national was found about 30km from Jansenville on Monday afternoon, 10 November.
A local farmer found the body of the man lying near a tree, not far from the main road between Graaff-Reinet and Jansenville.
The victim was travelling from Victoria West to Port Elizabeth to buy stock for his shop and was thought to have been carrying a large amount of cash.
He had multiple stab wounds on his body, and there was no sign of any money on or with the victim's body.
At this stage, Brig Rudolph Adolph, Cluster Commander for the Graaff-Reinet SAPS district, was able to confirm that two Bangladeshi nationals have been arrested, one of whom was the driver of the vehicle in which the men were travelling.
The police are investigating whether there may have been more passengers in the vehicle, who may also be suspects in the case.
No further details have been released due to the sensitive stage of the investigation.
