KAROO NEWS - An evening of fun ended in tragedy on 1 September, after a man stabbed his friend in his neck as they exited a tavern in Pearston.
According to Police Spokesperson Captain Bradley Rawlinson, the two men were seen drinking and joking in the streets when the suspect stabbed Percival Phillis Geswint.
"Geswindt was still alive when emergency medical services arrived on the scene, but he died while being treated," Rawlinson said.
The Pearston Police opened a murder docket and the suspect has been arrested.
