KAROO NEWS & VIDEO - Although some South African National Parks (SANParks) will be open to visitors as of 1 June, when level three of lockdown is implemented, Karoo parks will remain closed for now.
According to a statement by SANParks, only its open-access national parks will allow visitors. These parks include Golden Gate Highlands-, parts of Garden Route- and Table Table Mountain National Park, with the exception of Boulders Beach and Cape Point.
“The Minister of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries will release a statement in due course regarding the opening of the other parks,” SANParks’ statement read.
