Transport and Community Safety MEC, Xolile Nqatha has warned livestock thieves that they will face the full might of the law this festive season and beyond as a few suspected livestock thieves have been napped on the province’s roads this festive season already.
The latest of those was on the R63 road in Bhisho, where two men were arrested in a bakkie pulling a trailer loaded with four cattle. They did not possess the necessary documents to transport any livestock.
In another incident on Sunday last week another two men were arrested with two suspected stolen sheep hidden in the spare wheel compartment of the Sedan, they were travelling in on the R61 road near Cofimvaba.
