GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - In celebration of World Diabetes Day on 14 November, the Graaff-Reinet Lions Club is running a diabetes awareness campaign.
During the last three years, the club organised free blood sugar testing at Clicks in town on 14 November, but Covid-19 prevents the event from proceeding this year.
In 2019, Lions held a high tea to raise funds for a diabetes awareness project, so they can spread information through posters, displays and flyers at schools, churches, supermarkets, pharmacies and the local libraries.
