ABERDEEN NEWS - The accident in which two paramedics died on Wednesday 11 March on the N9, happened when their ambulance struck a kudu about 10km from Aberdeen.
Hilton Naudé died on the scene, while Nomawabu Mpemnyama was declared dead on arrival at the Midland Hospital. They were both paramedics from Resq 911, a private ambulance service in Oudtshoorn.
An event medic, Chapman Goodman, was injured.
The men were on their way to Komani to collect goods for an event, when the ambulance hit the kudu just before 1am.
