GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The kidnappers of a woman who was allegedly abducted in Kroonvale in Graaff-Reinet, are still at large.
The woman reported to the police that, on Sunday 21 July, she was walking down Merino Street at around 9.15pm when the two suspects approached her.
"She alleged they grabbed her from behind and forced her into a vehicle," said Police Spokesperson Captain Bradley Rawlinson to the Advertiser.
The woman stated that she lost consciousness, and woke up in a dark room with two other women.
"The woman said the two suspects later took the women from the room, after which she was able to escape," Rawlinson added.
He said details surrounding the incident remain vague, and the matter is under investigation.
Rawlinson confirmed on 12 August that no arrests have yet been made. "The woman is unable to give a description of the suspects."
