GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - An injured motorcyclist was transported to Midlands Hospital this afternoon (Saturday), after lying next to the road about 40km outside Graaff-Reinet for roughly two hours.
The man was traveling towards town from Nieu-Bethesda when the accident occurred.
The incident left him stranded and hidden from sight in bushes next to the road. He was finally found, hours later, when a motorist saw skid marks on the road, and found the injured man upon further investigation.
On scene, emergency responders assisted the injured man, while onlookers gave him water and recovered his motorbike from the bushes.
It is unclear at this stage what led to to the accident or what injuries the man suffered.
