GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - In aid of Camdeboo Hospice in Graaff-Reinet, community members from near and far are invited to participate in a Party for Hospice.
The fundraising project invites people to host or attend a party with a twist.
The event can be at home, a restaurant, over Zoom, Skype or even over a WhatsApp group, by sharing photos. Friends and family are invited to enjoy a cup of tea, drinks, a meal, picnic or braai - the possibilities are endless! Covid-19 regulations, of course, must please be adhered to.
Guests are asked to make a relatively small donation towards Hospice, such as R50, which would have been a very cheap price for a tea party ticket!
Camdeboo Hospice is currently almost entirely dependent on fundraising, and live month to month. They provide palliative home care to cancer, HIV and AIDS, TB and motor neuron disease patients. They have a small group of carers, trained in home-based care, under the supervision of a professional nurse trained in palliative care.
Donations can be made by visiting www.backabuddy.co.za and searching "Camdeboo Hospice" in the "Find a Cause" block. Once you've clicked on Camdeboo Hospice, you'll see the Party for Hospice section, where donations can be made.
Alternatively, donors can pay directly into Hospice's bank account:
- Bank: Standard Bank
- Branch code: 050116
- Account number: 082 511 403 (current account)
- Account holder: Camdeboo Hospice
- International code (if necessary) SBZAZAJJ
- Reference: Your name, followed by "Party"
