GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Nadene Wessels (22) from Graaff-Reinet, who participated in the international Arts and Talent Showcase in September, received a musical recognition award and a scholarship from ADMA College in America.
She was also one of a few artists selected to attend the International Model and Talent Association Convention (IMTA), which will take place in New York from 15 to 18 July 2022.
Hento Davids, who represents the Wessels family, told Graaff-Reinet Advertiser that Nadene is hard at work to prepare herself for the upcoming IMTA convention. "This whole experience is so close but yet so far," said Davids.
"For Nadene to make this dream come true, she needs to raise R100 000 that will cover all her expenses, such as visa costs, transport, flight tickets, meals and some pocket money.
"Anyone in Graaff-Reinet and surrounds that can help with any donations or contributions will be greatly appreciated. Please help us to make this talented young woman's dream come true."
If you are able or willing to assist, contact Davids on 082 821 9518.
