UPDATE 8 NOVEMBER 2020 @ 14:00 - Luwandy Meyer of Graaff-Reinet confirmed shortly before 14:00 today that her missing brother, Rewaldo Hermaans (16), has been found.

"Thank you very much to the community for their assistance," Meyer told the Advertiser. According to her, it appears that Rewaldo was robbed of his sneakers, but was otherwise found unharmed.

GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Graaff-Reinet learner Rewaldo Hermaans (16) has been missing since last night (7 November), at around 20:00.

"He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, a jean, black sneakers, a blue jersey and Happy Socks (socks with colourful designs)," his sister, Luwandy Meyer, told the Advertiser at 11:40 today, confirming that the Spandau Secondary learner is still missing.  

Rewaldo was last seen at his home on Vink Street, near Narsingstreet  Primary School.

The Graaff-Reinet SAPS has been approached for comment.
