GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Five small businesses attend the meeting of the Kingdom Women Entrepreneurs last weekend.
Hanna Makoba hosted the meeting with the theme of “What legacy will you leave behind?” As her inspiration, she used verses from Proverbs 31 and Acts 9.
Among the diverse businesses represented were catering and cleaning, takeaway and draping, an agent for cookware, and sewing co-operatives.
The ladies had fruitful discussions on how they can support each other with their gifts, and how to build sustainable businesses. Out of the discussion it was clear everyone present had something to offer. There will be monthly workshops to exchange some ideas and assist each other.
Makoba’s own enterprise, New Horizons Women Co-operative will start to give training sessions on sewing, beadwork, patchwork and how to make bags.
Anyone interested in the training can contact her on 083 338 1722.
