Family celebrates 4th generation attending Union Prep

GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — A Graaff-Reinet family is celebrating four generations that have attended the same school.

Seven-year-old Jordan Maritz, the eldest son of Megan (née Sullivan) and John Maritz, attended his first day at Union Preparatory School on Wednesday, January 17.

Jordan is the fourth generation from the Sullivan family to have attended Union Prep.

Jordan is also the second Maritz attending Union - after his grandmother Jackie Maritz Norton who also started her schooling as a Grade 1 pupil at Union Prep.
