GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — Couples can have fun together at Karoo-lus!
Each pair, consisting of one man and one woman, will compete in a variety of challenges testing their co-ordination, team spirit and ingenuity.
Although the organisers would appreciate entries ahead of time, they learnt from experience last year that many competitors will just arrive on the day, so pre-entry is not essential.
The event is due to be held at 13:00 on Saturday, September 30.
There is no entry fee other than gate entry to the festival.
A taster of the events for those bucking up courage to enter: a sack race in a Montego feed bag, apple bobbing, blindfolded obstacle course, picking candy from flour, and Pictionary.
Wonderful prizes are on offer. First prize winners will be able to luxuriate in two nights at the Drostdy Hotel, including breakfast, for two. Second prize is a voucher for Africology Spa treatment for 2 valued at R750, and third prize winners will receive R500 cash.
