NIEU-BETHESDA NEWS - The creative little village of Nieu-Bethesda is very proud of Emma Haines who won silver in the Packaging Design Category for her project, ‘Eat Kayamandi’ at the Loerie Awards this past week.
Emma grew up in Nieu-Bethesda to creative parents Martin and Charmaine Haines.
After school Emma received a degree in Visual Communications from the Stellenbosch Academy of Art and Photography.
The Loeries (now in its 40th year) is a non-profit company administering awards for the advertising and brand communications industry in Africa and the Middle East, and is the most prestigious brand communication award in our region.
Winning a Loerie is considered the highest accolade for creativity and innovation across the region and brings together the best innovative minds from the industry for a week of recognition, reward and inspiration.
