KAROO NEWS - The driver of a minibus taxi transporting learners died, while three learners sustained serious injuries during a collision with a train.
The incident occurred earlier this afternoon near Addo.
According to Unathi Binqose, spokesperson for the Department of Traffic, the taxi was transporting learners from Samnekelwe SSS when the accident happened.
"The three injured boys are aged between 15 and 18. One was airlifted to Livingston Hospital in Gqebera, while the other two were rushed to a local hospital," he said.
Emergency services are still on the scene.
