GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Graaff-Reinet Vispol Commander Lt Colonel Moira Abrahams is urging motorists to obey traffic rules and to ensure they have their driver's licences with them when on the road.
Abrahams also cautioned motorists against getting stranded without fuel as this may leave the occupants of the vehicle vulnerable to criminals.
"Always ensure that a friend or family member, who is not travelling with you, is aware of the route you will travel."
"Ideally, update this individual on your progress and let him or her know when you have reached your destination," Abrahams says.
