GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Sarah Cromhout is currently busy with her MSc research looking at the short-term effects high densities of sheep (Ovis aries) have on vegetation composition, landscape functioning and soil properties in the Nama Karoo, South Africa.
She is also a facilitator/assessor at the Herding Academy, a holistic learning platform where the ancient skill of herding livestock is applied to mimic natural migrations in order to regenerate human and natural coexistence.
To find out more about this interesting topic, the public is invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Graaff-Reinet Museum on Friday, 8 June 2018 at 12:00 at The Old Library in Church Street with Cromhout as the guest speaker.
