GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The first four-footed friend to feature in Diere-maniere is Graaff-Reinet's pitch black spaniel Jet (3).
He lives with Jacques and René Laubscher on Greeff Street, and is a very protective companion.
Jet was named after a dog owned by Paul McCartney, of which a hit song was composed in the 70s. Jet has other spaniel friends, who belong to the Laubscher's son, who are also named after songs by The Beatles.
Jet's favourite pastime includes swimming and going for walks.
