Dam level still rising

GRAAFF-REINET NEWS & VIDEO - The Nqweba Dam’s level was measured at 7,65% this morning (21 February), after the Gats River came down in flood. At 10am, water was still flowing into the catchment area.

The level was 5,3% yesterday morning, 20 February.

The Gats River came down in flood after 31mm of rain fell in the Nieu-Bethesda area the night of 19 and 20 February. This follows a couple of days’ rain before 19 February.
