GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — Over the weekend of December 16 to 18 last year, the 1976 matriculants of Spandau Secondary School (which was then known as Spandau High School) decided to establish a trust fund for underprivileged learners matriculating from this school.
Their plans have come to fruition with the trust fund to be launched on September 23 at 19:00 in the Spandau school hall in Graaff-Reinet. Local businesses have been approached to sponsor the launch and to contribute to the fund in future.
Businesses are also requested to either donate to the trust or to buy a table for 10 people at a cost of R1 500. The tickets are available from Isaac Edwards at 41 Springbok Street, Kroonvale.
