A 31-year-old Graaff-Reinet woman discovered this on 21 August, when she was arrested for attempting to steal a Grand-Pa sachet from a shop in Caledon Street.
According to the Graaff-Reinet SAPS, the woman tried to hide the sachet, but it was found and she was caught... red-handed, long-fingered and with insult added to the injury or pain she was attempting to relieve. A trip to the cells most likely did nothing to ease her discomfort.
