KAROO NEWS - Joyie Pieterse (32), who murdered his girlfriend, Constance Blou, on 30 October 2022 in Lotusville in Aberdeen, was sent to prison for 15 years in the regional court on Tuesday, 18 July.
At the time of her murder, Blou was seven months pregnant and the unborn child passed away with Blou.
Pieterse killed his girlfriend after he woke up and saw that Blou was not in bed. He went looking for her and when he found her outside in the street, he stabbed her to death.
Family members of the late Blou are satisfied with the sentence and expressed their appreciation for the work done by Aberdeen Police who investigated the murder.
