The identity of the deceased is known to the Advertiser, and will be released once all relatives are notified.

KAROO NEWS - The body of a man (63) was recovered by the police from an open field near the old Kroonvale swimming pool in Graaff-Reinet on Friday, 28 July at about 14:30. 

According to police spokesperson WO Majola Nkohli, there were no visible injuries on the body. He confirmed that an inquest docket has been opened for further investigation. 

The identity of the deceased is known to the Advertiser, and will be released once all relatives are notified.
