GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - A 24-year-old Nieu-Bethesda woman who stands accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death, has been granted bail of R200 in the Graaff-Reinet Magistrate's Court on 12 November.
The Graaff-Reinet Detective Branch refused to release the name of the victim or the suspect. The case was postponed until 18 December.
It is alleged that the suspect stabbed her boyfriend with a knife during a fight on a farm at 5pm on Sunday 3 November.
"Members of Nieu-Bethesda SAPS found the victim with a stab wound to the left upper chest," said SAPS spokesperson, Captain Bradley Rawlinson. The victim was declared dead on the scene.
The suspect was arrested on a charge of murder.
