ABERDEEN NEWS - On Tuesday 1 June, another residential property in Aberdeen was destroyed in a fire.
The Advertiser reported on the first incident on 31 May.
The second incident occurred when Van Lingen de Beer’s house on the corner of Church and Darling Street went ablaze after an electric blanket caught fire.
The Van Lingen family lost valuable items of antique furniture in the fire. Van Lingen’s firearms and ammunition were also audibly destroyed in a series of explosions.
The De Beer's run a butchery and bottle store in Aberdeen.
