Update
ABERDEEN NEWS - The Aberdeen hospital was reopened at about 6pm on Saturday evening after enforced closure earlier in the day due to a member of staff testing positive for Covid-19.
Municipal workers from both Aberdeen and Graaff-Reinet deep-cleaned the hospital in eight hours, to minimise the inconvenience to the community.
The staff members who have been tested will stay at home until their results are known.
Joan Mafilike, chairperson of the hospital board, confirmed that those on duty as of today were not in contact with the person who has tested positive.
