ABERDEEN NEWS — A 23-year-old woman was raped by her boyfriend in Aberdeen on 12 January.
It is alleged that she was taken by her boyfriend from a friend's house, to his house, and raped after he had tied her up. The incident happened at about 20:30. The suspect is known but is still at large. The case is still under active investigation.
A case of assault GBH was opened after an incident on 2 December in Lotusville. The victim was at his home when there was a disagreement with a family member. During this, the complainant was assaulted.
There was also one case of stock theft of sheep reported. The complainant, from Uitsig Farm, reported that between 21 November last year and 11 January, 28 ewes valued at R 42 000 had been removed from the camps in which they had been placed.
A total of 13 arrests for serious crimes were made last week by Aberdeen. Four suspects were arrested for assault GBH, one for theft, three for stock theft, two for malicious damage to property and a further three under warrants of arrest.
Four people were also arrested and held briefly for being drunk and disorderly.
