GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - It was a lean week for arrests in Graaff-Reinet last week, with only six arrests for serious crimes. Two of these were for possession of Mandrax, and one each for assault GBH, assault common, contravention of protection order, and attempted burglary at a business premises.
There were also several minor arrests. Twelve people were arrested for loitering, four for being drunk and disorderly, and three for drinking in public. There were also two arrests for traffic offences.
In Willowmore, one suspect was arrested for rape, and one for a residential burglary. There were also eight arrests for being drunk and disorderly.
This week’s haul of goods confiscated include netting,dagga, Mandrax, and tools.
There were no convictions this week.
