NIEU-BETHESDA NEWS - Katrina Lottering can be seen most days selling beautiful cement owls and other statues outside the Owl House.
She is also passionate about providing creative and nourishing events for the children of the village, especially during the school holidays when the short, cold days lead to many a hungry child with not much to do for entertainment.
Karina’s Khoi-San dance group has provided entertainment for many tourists in Nieu-Bethesda, and Katrina encourages and guides the children to participate in this creative part of their heritage.
Recently, Katrina joined forces with the lovely people of ‘Maranatha’ and they provided a generous meal, fruit and some treats.
Katrina says everyone felt so happy and sang and danced, and is extremely grateful to those who made this happy event possible.
