GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — A very successful street stall was held by the Camdeboo Hospice in Graaff-Reinet on Thursday last week.
A huge cake was kindly donated by Spar, which needed careful cutting by board members Val Loock and Yvonne Drummond!
Cakes, second-hand books, and Hospice Honey were sold, raising in excess of R3 000 for the organisation. Friends of Hospice baked and donated most of the cakes, and the Hospice management is very grateful to these folk, as well as members of the community for their support.
A large stock of second hand books, as well as the excellent Hospice Honey, is available for sale throughout the week, and jumble sales are run every Friday morning from 9am to 11am. Donations of goods to be sold at the jumble sales would be greatly appreciated - clothing, shoes, linen, curtains, bric- a- brac and absolutely anything which is still in a good condition will be gladly accepted by the ladies at the office.
