GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - A two-year-old baby died on the N9 outside Aberdeen on Friday morning, after the driver (29) of the vehicle he was in swerved to avoid a collision with a kudu.
"The driver, which is also the baby's father, lost control of the VW Polo and it rolled," Capt Bradley Rawlinson of the Graaff-Reinet SAPS told the Advertiser.
The family was about 30km outside of Aberdeen when the incident happened. The baby died on scene, and the and the father and a second passenger were taken to Midlands Hospital for treatment.
The extent of their injuries is unknown.
