KAROO NEWS - A tip-off about stolen ostrich feathers from Oudtshoorn en route to Cradock, led to the recovery of millions of rand worth of feathers on Friday 26 July.
Following the information, the Cradock K9 unit, Cradock SAPS Vispol members, Oudtshoorn's stock theft unit and CDK Security with the help of Navic Cloud, intercepted a Toyota LDV and a White Isuzu KB LDV in J A Calata Street in Cradock.
Two bags filled with feathers were found and police arrested the drivers and seized the vehicles.
The value of the suspected stolen ostrich feathers is estimated at R2-million.
