BUSINESS NEWS - The Koruson Cluster is comprised of two clusters of projects, namely Koruson I and Koruson II.
The Koruson I project developed by EDF power solutions and partners, comprises three wind farms totalling 420 MW and is a Round 5 REIPPP project.
Koruson II developed by Envusa Energy, comprises two wind farms and one solar farm totalling 520 MW.
The projects traverse two local municipalities, two district municipalities and two provinces (Northern Cape and Eastern Cape).
The Koruson Cluster of projects seeks the services of a suitably experienced and qualified Service Provider for 4 years, for the management of a Bursary Programme.
The project's goal is to fund students from high schools in Inxuba Yethemba, and Umsobomvu Local Municipalities, at universities or TVET Colleges.

Scope of service and deliverables:
- The recruitment of approximately thirty (30) 2025 matriculants from high schools in Inxuba Yethemba Local Municipality and Umsobomvu Local Municipality.

- Administration:
- Recruitment and school visits
- Applications management
- Locality verification
- Record keeping
- Payments:
- Tuition, allowances, accommodation, learning tools
- Academic & Psychological Support:
- Identification and prompt response to academic and psychological challenges

Minimum documents required as part of the submission should include:
- A valid BBBEEE Certificate documents or affidavit copy
- A valid tax clearance certificate
- A completed EDF-power solutions’ compliance checklist and its support documentation.
- Confirmation Business Bank Account letter and letter to confirm financial capacity to undertake the scope.
- A company profile that demonstrates the tenderer's existing infrastructure and ability to render this service (previous experience in implementing programmes within REIPPP is advantageous).
- Experience in subject matter with two (2) written contactable references (names and cell phone numbers of where similar services were rendered).
- Preference will be given to service providers based in the Eastern Cape and Northern Cape
The Tenderer must submit a binding proposal, including the following:
- A detailed technical proposal detailing a bursary programme administration structure
- A Project Implementation Plan with proposed timeframes using start date: 1 January 2026.
- A Financial Proposal detailing the cost implications and payment terms for the bursary administration service.
