GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Local bingo casino Goldrush is hosting several events for the community on Friday, 23 March, with the aim of promoting tourism awareness and marketing for the town and surrounding area.
A street mile for local runners in Church Street, starting at 09:00, will kick off the day’s festivities.
Later during the day, a presentation of banners and posters will be on display, made by Grade 11 Tourism subject learners at local schools, showcasing tourism themes from the area.
On the front stoep of Goldrush and on the corner of Murray Street, there will be stalls run by local tourism stakeholders and service providers.
As part of the entertainment, Algoa FM’s Kaycee Rossouw will be broadcasting live in Church Street from 9:00 to 12:00.
