BUSINESS NEWS - Well-known household goods retailer, Drommedaris, recently celebrated the establishment of its fourth branch when the appliance and homeware store opened its doors in Graaff-Reinet.
As a home and lifestyle specialist, Drommedaris promises to have something for every home improvement enthusiast.
Customers can look forward to being spoiled for choice when shopping at the brand new Defy and Bosch appliances "store-in-store" display concepts. Both these "concept stores" are fully stocked with the entire range of appliances that Defy and Bosch have to offer.
Customers are guaranteed to have a good night's sleep when they shop at the brand-new Cloud Nine and Rest Assured Beds division, and if they still cannot find the right bed, there are still more to choose from at the Sealy Specialised Sleep Center division.

Pieter Herholdt, director and head of purchasing at Drommedaris, says products are mainly displayed by brand rather than category.
"This is a trend you will find across all our stores. We purchase strategically, and only procure products form the best local and international brands - these include names like Smeg, Elba, Samsung, La-Z-boy, Snomaster and Grafton Everest, to mention but a few," he says.
Drommedaris was originally established in 1984 as a second-hand furniture shop on the corner of Drommedaris and Jeffreys Street in the heart of Jeffreys Bay. Today Drommedaris Jeffreys Bay boasts more than 2 500m² of retail space with everything that will help make your house a home.
Demand necessitated the opening of another branch in Fountains Mall in the popular seaside resort.
The Plettenberg Bay branch opened in 2017 and boasts more than a 1000m² of retail space, merchandised to the exact same standard that you will find at Jeffreys Bay.
Herholdt says Drommedaris Graaff-Reinet has taken best practises from the above stores in the design and layout, and although not as big, customers can be assured that the service and pricing is on the exact same standard as the other stores.
"We also boast a state-of-the-art e-commerce website with free delivery countywide on all orders above R10 000. Visit us online or in-store in Graaff-Reinet, Jeffreys Bay or Plettenberg Bay for huge variety and massive savings on almost all household goods."
