These were the word of Natalie Anthony, proprietor of the Burger Inn takeaway restaurant in Graaff-Reinet this week upon celebrating her business' second year in business.
Anthony has been managing Burger Inn since November 19, 2014, and has seen it reach many milestones in these two years.
She has endeavored to become involved in local community projects and by doing so make a difference in Graaff-Reinet - this past year alone Burger Inn has assisted numerous fundraising initiatives such as the Spandau Pink Tea for Cancer Awareness and the Acacia Street Annual Party.
They have also sponsored several individuals throughout the year and have thrown their support behind numerous local schools.
Apart from the above-mentioned community involvement projects, Burger Inn has also been very visible at community events such as the Karoo-lus Festival, the Camdeboo Classic Clashes, the launch of the Camdeboo Athletics League and the Asherville matric farewell.
Anthony has really thrown her heart into these efforts over the past year and hopes to continue this involvement in the years to come.
Graaff-Reinetters and visitors to town are invited to visit Burger Inn, situated at 6 - 8 College Road. Burger Inn trades from 8am to 8pm on Mondays thru Thursdays and on Saturdays.
On Fridays, the shop is open from 7.15am to 9pm and on Sundays from 8am to 1.30pm.
All are also reminded of their hand-kneaded roosterkoek on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Other weekday-specific meals include their delicious hot wings on Mondays, the 'special of the month and vetkoek' on Tuesdays and Thursdays and a gatsby and 'special of the month' on Saturdays.
On Sundays, Burger Inn also prepares a fantastic, freshly made and affordable meal of the day.
