MIDDELBURG NEWS - Geelbek Elite Merino will be hosting their 53rd production sale on Wednesday, January 31.
The Geelbek Elite Merino is a hardy, robust, plain (free of skin folds) fertile Merino sheep with a good mutton conformation, carrying a high quality medium to fine fleece with exceptional length and an excellent clean yield.
The ewes have enough energy to produce a good supply of milk allowing the lambs to grow quickly which enables them to be ready for the mutton trade at the time of weaning.
The sale will be held on the farm Leopardsvlei near Middelburg, EC.
