Peter Burdett:
As far as the issues of residents of Cypress Grove with Jiang Ping Store go, I would just like to inform you that I have had two close shaves with forklift vehicles operated by their staff in the last week.
On one occasion I had to brake hard to avoid a collision and on another, give way to one oncoming on the wrong side of the road. Someone needs to take their drivers for lessons or perhaps [they should] visit an optometrist!!
The traders score nothing for housekeeping as their yard contributes an unsightly mess to the entrance to the Grove.
Litter from discarded packaging lies everywhere. Big trucks unloading from the roadway instead of from the premises of Jiang Ping are an enduring nuisance, but the traffic department seems reluctant to act. Let's not even mention yellow 'no parking' lines which faded into obscurity years ago.
We have asked the traffic department as well as ward councillors for help in this matter, but have now given up waiting.
