Water awareness cultivated
As part of activities to urge people to use water sparingly, the Dr Beyers Naudé Municipality recently embarked on a roadshow to increase awareness concerning water conservation. The municipality - in partnership with the Department of Water and Sanitation, SANParks and the Department of Health - visited the primary schools in the region, accompanied by Sponsie - their mascot.
