A matric farewell is a rite of passage to many young people, but the Covid-19 pandemic made it almost impossible for the Class of 2020 to wrap up their matric year with the traditional celebrations. Following a long and uncertain wait, the Union High School 2020 matric group were finally able to celebrate a farewell dinner that was safe, fun and unique, at the Drostdy Hotel in Graaff-Reinet on Friday 11 December.
