Portraits a plenty
Nine eager artists gathered at Imibala Gallery in Graaff-Reinet on Saturday 1 February, for a two-day intensive painting course titled Introduction to Painting a Head, taught by Jonathan Silverman. “We started with basic bone structure of the skull, drew it and then painted in black and white oil paints,” said participant Janet Kingwill.
