Teachers assistants protest about no pay
Teacher assistants from Union Prep and various other schools in Graaff-Reinet are protesting at the Department of Education building in the town as they haven't been paid at all since starting work on 1 December. The assistants are employed by the department to assist schools with Covid-19 protocol and their contracts expire end of March.
