R2,2 miljoen se vee verkoop
Volgens voorlopige inligting is ongeveer 800 skaap en 200 bees teen 'n bedrag van R2,2 miljoen by die GWK-slagveiling in Graaff-Reinet opgeveil. Die heersende droogte het volgens kenners 'n invloed op die prys gehad. Kopers van sover as Kaapstad en Noord-Kaap het die veiling bygewoon. Dit word egter as 'n groot sukses beskryf.
