Ligte sneeu het op Sondag 9 Julie deur die dag en nag op hoogliggende gedeeltes van die Dr Beyers Naudé-distrik begin geval. 'n Sprokiesmooi gesig het 10 Julie op motoriste en inwoners van die area gewag, nadat n dik sneeukombers die veld en berge wit gelaat het.
