Hewige haelbui en stormreën sak op Nieu-Bethesda
'n Hewige haelbui en stormreën het Dinsdagmiddag, 12 Januarie 2021, groot verwoesting op Nieu-Bethesda gesaai. Die naam Nieu-Bethesda is van bybelse oorsprong en beteken "plek van vloeiende water". Dinsdag het die dorp sy naam gestand gedoen toe 40 mm reën binne 30 minute uitgesak het. Op Ganora-gasteplaas 8 km noord-oos van Nieu-Bethesda het 20 mm reën in net 10 minute geval.
