This 3-day outdoor artisan market will showcase some of the finest craftsmanship: everything from woman and baby fashion, footwear and beauty, jewellery, furniture and décor, ceramics and art, food from the traditional jaffles, roosterkoek en pancake to amazing Wagu beef and charcuterie and superb wine from some of the finest wine farms.
The Oude Pastorie in Nieu Bethesda has partnered with SA's premier artisan market platform, KAMERS Makers, to create the new Karoo Handmade concept - an event that will feature all that is inventive, creative, beautiful and delicious.
The Oude Pastorie's beautiful gardens will be filled with colour and creativity and guests will have the ideal opportunity to do some Christmas shopping. Dozens of South Africa's finest Makers - from Riebeck Kasteel to Cape Town, Stellenbosch to Gqeberha, Graaff-Reinet to Nieu Bethesda - will be in residence selling their handmade items. This would undoubtedly be the absolute perfect place to go and buy unique gifts for a special occasion.
Karoo Handmade opens from 09:00 to 17:00 on Friday and Saturday (for Makers) while the food stalls will run until 19:00. On Sunday it will be open from 09:00 until 12:00.
